I like substack too (as a reader rather than a writer) — for now it’s very much a “pull” I seek things out rather than being “fed” and that simple act of friction completely changes the way I engage

I used to enjoy going to instagram for an inspirational quote, to share in the journey of my friends - and certainly to get excited about art and design - but one day that all changed as the the state of politics got worse. I could no longer visit for joy as I never knew what land mines (the algorithms) would be there. I found substack early on and love it. I’m glad to have found you here too.
